Preparing for the Future Learning Programme – 6 sessions Online
A programme specifically for parents and carers of neurodivergent young people (11 – 18), diagnosed or not, enabling them to encourage independence, think about education and employment opportunities and navigate their approach to adulthood.
Delivered with inspiring lived experience examples and a focus on positive practical strategies.
It will be delivered across across 6 Tuesday evening sessions 6.30pm – 8.30pm, beginning 9th September supporting and empowering parents and carers with information and strategies around:
- Planning for transition
- Supporting independence
- Reasonable adjustments and SEND
- Further education and employment
- Independent living
- Community inclusion
- Relationships
- Good health and wellbeing
- Local provision and services.

In addition to this we are running a programme for young people themselves. This will be a webinar format with no cameras or microphones turned on. Discussion and interaction is voluntary and via the chat function.
