Autism Learning Programme – Tweens and Teens – Sefton / Liverpool

We are delighted to provide an open offer to Liverpool and Sefton parents and carers whose child has received a diagnosis of autism.

Subject to availability, places may also be available to those whose child or young person is awaiting an autism assessment.

This version of the programme is designed to better understand autism in tweens and teens (11-19yrs) and will take place over 3 Tuesdays – 23rd June, 30th June and 7th July – 9.30am – 2.45pm.

you should attend all three sessions.

This unique learning programme has been designed to support and empower parents and carers in their understanding of how autism is experienced by young people providing learning, guidance and strategies to better support many aspects of autism and co-occuring difficulties including communication, sensory processing difficulties, transitions, difficulties with eating, sleeping and toileting.  This version of the programme with have a particular focus on the challenges young people face as they navigate puberty, increased expectations and high school. The programme is commissioned and funded by NHS Cheshire and Merseyside.
