Autism Learning Programme Preschool & Primary – St Helens
We are delighted to provide an open offer to St Helens parents and carers whose child has received a diagnosis of autism.
Subject to availability, places may also be available to those whose child is awaiting an autism assessment.
This programme will take place over 3 Fridays – 8th, 15th and 22nd May – 9.30am – 2.45pm.
you should attend all three sessions. (venue details will be confirmed when your place is confirmed)
This unique learning programme has been designed to support and empower parents and carers in their understanding of how autism is experienced by children, providing learning, guidance and strategies to better support many aspects of autism and co-occuring difficulties including communication, sensory processing difficulties, transitions, difficulties with eating, sleeping and toileting. This version of the programme with have a particular focus on the challenges younger children face. The programme is commissioned and funded by NHS Merseycare.
