Knowing Me Neurodiversity Profile Tool Training
Knowing Me is a new tool being rolled out across Cheshire and Merseyside that looks at a child/young person’s strengths and needs, focusing on neurodivergence, to help everyone understand them and meet their needs at home and at school. Below you will find dates for 3hr training sessions for professionals who will be using the tool as well as 1hr information sessions for all professionals and parent carers to understand more about the tool. Once registered you should receive a link to join ahead of the session. Any problems, please contact info@addvancedsolutions.co.uk
About the Tool
The Cheshire & Merseyside Knowing Me neurodiversity profiling tool will be used across the region to better understand and meet the needs of neurodiverse children/young people and their families. When a family or a professional working with a child/young person identifies potential neurodiversity, they will work together to complete a profile, lead by the professional who has completed the training. They will collaborate with the child/young person and their parents/carers to understand their strengths, differences and needs in various areas. By using this needs-led approach, we can provide more personalised support at an earlier stage.
