Autism Learning Programmes
Our Autism Learning Programme has been designed to give parents and carers a greater understanding of the different ways autism can be experienced by children and young people: enabling them to identify the individual needs of their own child and equipping them with strategies to support some of the challenges that they might be facing. This programme is commissioned and funded making it free to attend for families in Liverpool, Sefton and St Helens, venues vary across these areas as well as the option to attend online. Priority will be given to those whose child has received a diagnosis of Autism but places will also be allocated to those who are awaiting a diagnosis where possible. Some programmes are specifically targeted to age groups , allowing us to explore in more detail the most common challenges at particular stages of development.
