Our ND Coaches visit Manchester Schools

As part of a new pilot initiative within Greater Manchester, our ND coaches have been working with neurodivergent young people in their school.  Supporting them to identify and better understand their needs and working with them on strategies and positive steps they can take to achieve their goals.

The schools involved said that they really valued the input from ADDvanced Solutions, with one Senco stating:

I have really enjoyed the professional working relationship and the flexibility that has been offered in supporting students….they have provided invaluable advice and established quick and meaningful relationships with the students”.

Most importantly the young people themselves found the coaching to be valuable and a really positive experience, we were truly delighted to read their feedback and wish all those young people every success for their future, it was a pleasure to work with them.

Here are some of their comments:

  • “I now have the tools to help me if I get stressed or anxious.”
  • “I got so much viable information from the sessions”
  • “I have been able to change my lifestyle” using the strategies identified.
  • “I have used the tools discussed for my overthinking and haven’t been as anxious or worried.”
  • “After the discussions of transition from primary school to secondary, it all makes sense to me now.”
  • “I recognise myself a little better now…. my focus has improved.”
  • “I now understand a core skill that will help me with my mental health.”
