From January 8th the Sefton Community Network Group will be held at a new venue in Bootle,
The May Logan Healthy Living Centre will be the new home of our Sefton Community Network Group, offering parents and carers an opportunity to gain knowledge and advice around neurodiversity and feel better equipped to support their children and young people. The sessions will be every Wednesday afternoon 12.30pm – 2.30pm. The group offers a free, informal, needs led, opportunity to discuss any difficulties that you might be facing as well as covering a topic each week, giving practical strategies from lived experience and reassurance that you are not alone. Here are the topics we will be discussing during the group sessions in Sefton this half term:
- Wednesday 8th January – Autism with a Demand Avoidant Profile
- Wednesday 15th January – Supporting Sleep Difficulties
- Wednesday 22nd January – Supporting Adolescent Mental Health in partnership with Ahead of the Game
- Wednesday 29th January – Identifying Problems, Finding Solutions
- Wednesday 5th February – Understanding and Supporting Behaviours that Challenge
- Wednesday 12th February – Supporting Siblings of Neurodivergent Children and Young People
There is no need to book just turn up, no referral or diagnosis needed.
