DESCRIPTION:For young people in St Helens, Knowsley and Warrington.\nFollowing the success of our parents and carers programme we have developed a series of sessions for neurodivergent young people (11 – 18) themselves, diagnosed or not, enabling them to explore their future, their independence, think about education and employment opportunities and navigate their approach to adulthood.\nDelivered with inspiring lived experience examples and a focus on positive practical strategies.\nIt will be delivered across across 7 Wednesday evening sessions 6.30pm – 8.30pm, beginning 10th September supporting and empowering parents and carers with information and strategies around:\n\nFriendships and relationships\nHealth and personal safety\nTransitioning to adult health services\n Transition planning\nIndependent travel  & managing money\n Community engagement\nEducation and training opportunities (FE, apprenticeships etc)\n Workplace readiness\n\nContact us to register your interest\nIn addition to this we are running a programme for parents and carers online on Tuesday evening.\n
