SUMMARY:Autism Learning Programme – St Helens (all ages)
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to provide an open offer to St Helens parents and carers whose child/young person has received or is awaiting a diagnosis of autism.\n(in the unlikely event that the programme is over subscribed, priority would be given to those who already have a diagnosis).\nThis programme will take place over 3 Mondays –  15th, 22nd & 29th September 2025 from 9:30am-2:45pm in St Helens\nyou should attend all three sessions. (venue details will be confirmed when your place is confirmed)\nThis unique learning programme has been designed to support and empower parents and carers in their understanding of how autism is experienced by children and young people, providing learning, guidance and strategies to better support many aspects of autism and co-occuring difficulties including communication, sensory processing difficulties, transitions, independence and anxiety.  The programme is commissioned and funded by NHS Merseycare.\nIf you are unable to join us face to face and your child is aged 14-19  – we run an autism learning programme online across 6 Thursday evenings beginning Thursday 18th September.  click here to register\nYou can also access our offer straight away via our community network groups which run every week during term time, no need to book, just come along.  Find your nearest group here\n
